Mary Krestik, CFO and VP of Finance at VNA & Blue Water Hospice has retired after 34 years. Mary began her career at VNABWH in 1991 as Biller Clerk, working her way up to the position of CFO & VP of Finance. She has had a role in many areas of the agency over the years from processing payroll, working through many transitions of the Private Duty and Home Health divisions, as was the first Hospice Biller. 

“Mary has been one of the very best business partners I’ve had the privilege to work with. She has taught us many things – she has always been willing to take the time to educate on any aspect of the agency from billing, reimbursement, appropriate Home Health visits related to CMS, and much more,” said Angela DeLaere, President and CEO, VNA & Blue Water Hospice.

Today we say farewell and thank you to this long-standing employee and celebrate her as she says goodbye to the daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and hello to seven-day weekends! Thank you, Mary – we truly appreciate the many years you’ve devoted to our agency.
