Let’s get to know Janet!

Janet is the Private Duty Home Care Coordinator at VNA & Blue Water Hospice. She has been with the agency since 2002. 

What are some of the responsibilities of your position?

“I handle the Private Duty scheduling and process all the visits in our billing system. I support the Private Duty team and supervisor, assisting with whatever is needed.”

“Janet has taken on a lot more responsibility recently. With staffing changes in other departments, some projects have been reassigned to her with short notice. After a death in my family, Janet stepped in and took on the role of “interim supervisor” in my absence. She did so without complaint, going so far as to postpone personal time to ensure proper coverage in our department. Janet often assumes responsibility for many items requiring supervision, especially when I am scheduled in the field, ensuring our clients are receiving the care they need and expect from us. Janet is truly a Shining Star!”
