Blue Water Home Care & Hospice (BWHCH) leadership honors staff and volunteers quarterly through the ‘Shining Star’ program, recognizing the extras they do for each other, our patients, and the community.

Let’s get to know Sara!

Sara is a nurse in the Home Health Division at BWHCH. She has been with the organization since 2024.

Upon learning of this honor, Sara said “It feels great to be noticed and wouldn’t be possible to do what I do without an amazing team behind me.”

Tracy recognized Sara as a Shining Star! 

Sara is praised by many patients! She is thorough in her care, reviews cases in detail prior to visiting to ensure quality care is given, is compassionate, and a wonderful teacher to her patients and newer staff. Sara has stepped into a leadership role within her team. She has a direct and kind approach to her patient case load and is invested in positive and successful outcomes. She is an asset to her team and BWHCH!
