VNA & Blue Water Hospice leadership honors staff & volunteers quarterly through the ‘Shining Star’ program, recognizing the extras they do for each other, their patients, and the community.

Amanda is a registered nurse at the Blue Water Hospice Home. She has been with the agency since 2019.

“Amanda has worked hard to provide care within the Hospice division. While she works at the Blue Water Hospice Home, she has gone out into the community to visit patients and assist our field staff. Amanda has offered numerous times to stay after shift end if additional coverage would help staff. We are grateful to have her here at the Blue Water Hospice Home and for the additional help she provides to the Hospice Community staff.”
