Let’s get to know Jessica!
Jessica is a Registered Nurse in the Hospice Division at BWHCH. She has been with the organization since 2023.
What attracted you to work at BWHCH?
Hospice has allowed me to continue to provide bedside care at a more intimate level than is possible in a hospital or nursing home setting. As a nurse, I always spent time with my patients and their families. I love that I have more flexibility to take even more time with them here.
It is a privilege to be able to be present for someone’s death. I am honored to help and support their families through such a difficult time. I am a Hospice Nurse in the Blue Water Hospice Home!
Jennifer recognized Jessica as a Shining Star!
Jessica goes above and beyond to assist with coverage by taking extra shifts when available. It isn’t occasionally here or there… but she consistently covers open shifts. She is one of those super stars who can flip from day shift to night shift. Her dedication to this agency and our patients is noticed and appreciated. Her willingness to jump in and help allows for shifts to flow smoothly. Thank you, Jessica!
