Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) Accreditation

An independent, nonprofit accrediting body for home and community-based health care organizations.

  • Private Duty: 3-year accreditation (2024 - 2027)
  • Home Health Care: 3-year reaccreditation (2024 - 2027)
  • Hospice Services: 3-year reaccreditation (2024 - 2027)

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Deemed Status

CMS has given CHAP authority to grant a “Deemed Status” title to organizations to whom they feel meet CMS certification requirements in addition to those of CHAP.

  • Hospice Services: Deemed Status
  • Private Duty: Deemed Status

Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) Top 20% in Hospice Care

SHP conducted caregiver experience surveys for more than 1,800 hospice providers nationwide. Blue Water Home Care & Hospice ranked in the top 20% for scores based on 2024 data.

We Honor Veterans Level I Partner Status

A program of the National Alliance for Care at Home focusing on respectful inquiry, compassionate listening, and grateful acknowledgement of the unique needs of Veterans at end-of-life care. Blue Water Home Care & Hospice has achieved Level 1 Status.
