Let’s get to know Mariah!
Mariah is the Revenue Cycle Supervisor in the Finance Department. She has been with BWHCH since 2001.
What attracted you to work at BWHCH?
I believe in the mission of BWHCH. We have a wonderful team that truly focuses on quality patient care.
How has your position changed since you started?
I started as a temporary employee to assist in the Billing Department. I then took on a full-time role as the Home Heath Biller. In 2019, I became the Revenue Cycle Supervisor.
Stephen recognized Mariah as a Shining Star!
Mariah has stepped up in many big ways since I joined the agency in May. There have been many changes in the Finance department including the payroll software change, check request updates, AP process updates, and ACH payment implementation. The payroll implementation alone has taken up much of her time, and her expertise in the process is crucial to a successful transition.
Mariah is a team player, be open to changes, and follows through with implementing the changes. She has been very supportive of me in my new role by sharing her knowledge and helping me with the new systems. She is willing to pull reports whenever I ask, provides feedback when she sees something unique, and asks good questions. Mariah has very few errors in her work and gladly accepts feedback when given. I would like to nominate her for Shining Star in 2025!
